[ES] El Belén ocupa toda la zona central de la plaza de Gipuzkoa, con figuras de un metro de altura realizadas en materiales que soportan bien las inclemencias del tiempo.

En los años 50 del siglo XX los artistas Rafael Munoa y José Luis Usabiaga, respaldados por el Centro de Atracción y Turismo (CAT), dieron luz al Belén Monumental de la Plaza de Gipuzkoa. La Asociación Belenística de Gipuzkoa se ha venido ocupando de la instalación de este popular Belén desde el año 1990

Es ideal para dar un paseo por esta preciosa plaza, entre tradición y cultura.

[EN] The Nativity scene occupies the entire central area of Plaza de Gipuzkoa, featuring one-metre-tall figures made from materials that withstand bad weather.

In the 1950s, artists Rafael Munoa and José Luis Usabiaga, supported by the Centre for Attraction and Tourism (CAT), created the Monumental Nativity Scene in Plaza de Gipuzkoa. Since 1990, the Gipuzkoa Nativity Scene Association has been responsible for installing this popular display.

It’s the perfect spot for a stroll through this beautiful square, surrounded by tradition and culture.

[ES] La noria de navidad en San Sebastián se monta cada año en el parque Alderdi Eder frente al ayuntamiento y ya se ha convertido en uno de los grandes atractivos de las fiestas navideñas.

Con su imponente altura de más de 50 metros, es una de las mejores formas de ver la bahía de La Concha. Es una oportunidad de conseguir una vista privilegiada que no está disponible durante todo el año.

Durante la noche, la noria enciende sus luces que inundan el paseo de la Concha y ayudan a crear un ambiente único. 

El precio de cada viaje es de 6€ por persona, menos los lunes que serán 3€.

[EN] The Christmas Ferris wheel in San Sebastián is set up every year in Alderdi Eder park, opposite the City Hall, and has already become one of the main attractions of the festive season.

With its impressive height of over 50 metres, it is one of the best ways to admire La Concha Bay. It offers a privileged view that isn’t available throughout the rest of the year.

At night, the Ferris wheel lights up, illuminating the La Concha promenade and creating a unique atmosphere.

Del 4 de diciembre al 5 de enero, el exterior del Palacio de Miramar se convertirá en un espacio de fantasía para vivir una experiencia en familia en la que se rinde homenaje a los insectos, que cumplen una función vital para la consagración de nuestros ecosistemas desde su aparición hace más de 400 millones de años.

A través de un recorrido de 700 metros, el espectáculo invita a redescubrir la biodiversidad mediante arte, luz y tecnología. Una experiencia inmersiva que refuerza el vínculo entre cultura, ciencia y sostenibilidad.

One of the major new features of San Sebastián Fomento’s Christmas Campaign will be “Miramar Magikoa”.

From 4 December to 5 January, the grounds of the Miramar Palace will be transformed into a fantasy space offering a family experience that pays tribute to insects, which have played a vital role in sustaining our ecosystems since their appearance more than 400 million years ago.

Along a 700-metre route, the show invites visitors to rediscover biodiversity through art, light and technology. An immersive experience that strengthens the link between culture, science and sustainability.

[ES] La Asociación Artística de Gipuzkoa organiza esta feria del arte el primer domingo del primer mes, de 10.30 a 14.30 horas, en el Boulevard donostiarra (en la Plaza de Gipuzkoa si hace mal tiempo). El 7 y 14 de diciembre, la feria estará abierta de 10.30 a 18.30 horas.

En ella participan más de cincuenta artistas para mostrar sus obras en los 27 puestos que sacan a la calle. ¡Ideal para dar un paseo!

[EN] The Gipuzkoa Art Association organises this art fair on the first Sunday of the first month, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., on the Boulevard in San Sebastián (in Plaza de Gipuzkoa if the weather is bad). On December 7 and 14, the fair will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

More than fifty artists take part, showcasing their works in the 27 stalls set up along the street. A perfect opportunity for a lovely walk!
